I'm not sure how one could photograph this ring to better show the depth, but I wish I had known. The stones and setting are nice enough to keep the ring, but the ring itself is not as I expected from the picture. There is more depth to the ring than I could see in the picture, so it sticks out more from my finger than I am used to and it feels weird between my fingers. Not the stone setting, but the ring itself. The stone setting is actually more flat than the picture implied to me. The stones do not sit up high at all. This could be a good thing, as it won't catch on clothing and other items.
I've only worn the ring once (just received it) and it fits perfectly. I used a sizing guide on ebay (blue circles on white background) and held up another ring that fits the finger I wanted to wear this ring on to the computer screen. Worked perfectly!
Peridot is my birthstone and I love wearing green! The color and clarity of the peridot is nice for this price range. I didn't care one way or the other about the diamond chips on either side. The metal of the ring is good quality and didn't turn my finger any strange colors, which happens with cheap rings.
